PDP Product Development

Since 1999 PDP has produced Drums that offer the DW quality for an affordable price. Being a subsidiary company of Drum Workshop gives them the opportunity to use the knowledge gained throughout DW‘s product development processes.

Being located in Oxnard, California, right next to DW’s and LP’s facilities, gives them the opportunity of a very close collaboration with those companies.

While incorporating many of DW‘s features and developments, the Pacific Drums team is always trying to develop their own products, offering the best instruments and hardware for that price. This leads to an ongoing process of product development and research.

Ruben Steinhauser, Rob Dean and Richard Sikra are three of the most important people in this process. Together with all the other PDP employees, dealers and artists, they never stop reviewing their ideas and looking for new ones.
